Nonco Foundation Junior Members
April 1, 2021
Because Canonization is such a long process, the Nonco Foundation President and the Board decided to invite the younger generatgion to become members of the Foundation. It is wise to invite younger people to join in the movement to canonize Nonco. Of course, we can think of no other activity that would be more rewarding that working on recognizing someone as a SAINT!
“What is required to become a Junior Member?”
1. Learn what you can about Nonco. The Foundation will furnish you a copy of the Nonco book called Auguste “Nonco” Pelafigue, a Documented Biography. Though the Junior Members never knew Nonco, the older generation of the area feel certain that the Junior Members will learn to love this kind old man who wanted nothing more than to spread the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and thereby our Catholic Faith.
2. Learn what you can about the Nonco Foundation. It is what IRS calls a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. There is work now that Junior Members can do to help. The experience can be very beneficial and educational.
3. Areas in which you might be interested are, for example, learning how to maintain the Nonco.org website. You might also be interested in the accounting work of the foundation. We are in the process of developing a Nonco Memorial Garden. Maybe working in that area will appeal to the Junior Membership. We have a prayer cards with a third-degree relic attached to it. Learning that process of creating the relics is very interesting.
The Nonco Foundation Annual Meeting is held in early December. We ask that the Junior Members attend the meeting and get involved in any area of the organization that appeals to you. Please share your interest with your friends and family and invite them to also join us so that the Nonco Foundation will grow and one day, you will witness Nonco’s Canonization.
SACRED HEART OF JESUS, HAVE MERCY ON US!
